Just the basics

What we use
| Name | Kind | Purpose | Lifespan |
|---|---|---|---|
| sd_sid | Cookie (first-party, essential) | Keeps you signed in and protects forms against forgery. Created only when you sign in or open a page with a form (contact, sign in, join, forgot password). | Until the browser closes |
| sd_age | Local storage | Remembers that you said you’re 18 or over in this browser. | Until you clear site data |
| sd_notice | Local storage | Remembers that you closed the cookie notice. | Until you clear site data |
| sd_under | Session storage | Remembers that you said you’re under 18, so the age check stays closed in that tab. | Until the tab closes |
| sd_start | Session storage | Records when your visit started, for the clock and hourly reminder. | Until the tab closes |
These are needed for the site to work as described, so there’s no switch to turn them off; the banner is just a notice. Clear them in your browser settings whenever you like and you’ll simply be asked your age again.
Third parties
- Google Sign-In. When it’s switched on, the sign-in and join pages load a script from Google (accounts.google.com), which may set its own cookies. See Google’s cookie information. It isn’t loaded on other pages.
- The games. Games open on our Games page from files hosted on sweetdreamscandyandtoys.com and may use browser storage or cookies to run. We don’t use them to follow you elsewhere.
We load no third-party fonts, ad networks, analytics tools or social-media plug-ins.
Managing cookies
Browsers let you block or delete cookies and site storage. If you block the essential cookie, signing in and our forms will stop working.
